Seven delclared for Joseph O'Reilly Hunter Chase

Following the cancellation of the final day of the Fairyhouse Easter meeting , the rescheduled meeting will now take place tomorrow and will stage the 2018 renewal of the Meath GAA Joseph R.O'Reilly hunters chase.

Wilcosdiana (pictured), who was the comfortable winner of the Cork hunters chase on Easter Monday, and will bid for her third success in this race category for her handler, Eugene O’Sullivan who won this race in 2015 with Drawn N Drank who is also declared in the race following his runner-up effort at Bellurgan Park on Sunday.

The daughter of Flemenesfirth was a winner twice this season at Rathcannon in October and again in the hunter chase at Cork in November and will partnered by her handler’s nephew Michael who was aboard her for her latest success.

The Declan Queally-trained Fenno’s Storm, who registered his first win under rules when he scored in the Tetratema Cup hunters chase at Gowran Park earlier in the month, is also amongst the declared runners.

A winner at Bandon at the end of February, Fenno’s Storm provided Queally with his 200th point-to-point winner in the saddle.

Venitien De Mai who was just half a length behind Fenno’s Storm at Gowran Park, is one of two runners representing the Jim Dreaper yard as he is also joined by Sizing Coal who was a convincing winner of the AtTheRaces hunter chase at Fairyhouse on his latest start, beating Rossvoss by eight lengths.

Former Grade one winner Felix Yonger, who was a dual Open winner last season, will make his hunter chase debut for the Colin McBratney team.
